Color: Dark red
Aroma: A grand spicy scent with notes of dark berries, cherries, plums, dried fruits, herbs and chocolate.  
Taste: A full-bodied wine with a fruity flavor, fresh balance and soft tannins with hints of dark cherries,
plums, dried fruit and oak.  
Food pairing: Goes excellent with robust dishes of meat, beef and game. 

Production and maturation: The grapes are harvested during the first ten days of October exclusively by hand. Appassimento, the drying of the grapes, takes place for 120 days, followed by destemming and gentle pneumatic pressing at the beginning of February. Aged in French oak barrels for 18 months, followed by at least 6 months in bottle.
